NOW FEATURING CASK ALE!
Cask-conditioned beer is beer in its truest form. It is unfiltered, naturally carbonated, contains “live” unpasteurized yeast that CONDITIONS the beer as it ages in the CASK. Once the cask tapped, the beer is hand-pumped by a BEER ENGINE and served slightly warmer than our other beers, allowing the true flavors to surface. This is a unique drinking experience not to be missed.

BEER 101
Beer - An alcoholic drink made by extracting sugars and other chemicals from grain (usually malted barley) into water, and fermenting the resulting solution.

Ale - Typically defined as beer whose fermentation has been carried out at or near room temperature. This usually results in a vigorous primary fermentation, with the yeast typically collecting on the surface of the beer, hence the alternative adjective “top-fermented.”

Lager - Beer whose fermentation has been carried out near freezing. Compared to ale, this usually results in a much slower primary fermentation, with the yeast remaining at the bottom of the fermenting vessel, hence bottom-fermented.
